The Walker Center Hospitality Services

The John A. Walker Community Center located on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, N.C. is the area’s primary venue for cultural experiences and a place where business, entertainment and celebration come together with high quality customer service. It was built in 1984 and was created to address Wilkes Community College’s mission components of culture, business, industry and training.

The Walker Center is often the setting for celebrations, from parties to wedding receptions, and provides meeting and conference space for many local businesses and organizations. Our staff has extensive knowledge and experience in event planning and will make the process of creating a special occasion easy and problem free. We are here to help you create memories for a lifetime. The staff is dedicated to creating a custom menu to fit every taste and budget and to look as good as it tastes.  Walker Center Hospitality Services meets the highest standard of preparation, presentation, sanitation, service and taste, so you can be assured of an impressive and unforgettable event.

With over 5,000 square feet of banquet space and private meeting rooms, the Walker Center has a space appropriate for any event.
