From elegant to rustic, we offer two perfect wedding and reception venues.
The Lakey Ballroom
The Lakey Ballroom amenities include an ample banquet space that can meet a variety of needs. It is a perfect venue for elegant and traditional weddings and receptions. Our ballroom can be divided into small spaces for a more intimate setting or you may utilize the entire 5,100-square-foot space to entertain up to 280 of your closest friends and family. The lobby area of The Walker Center can even be expanded by adding a tented area outside to give you additional entertaining space.
The Doc & Merle Watson Theatre
Rustic charm and well-worn wooden beams grace the Watson Stage with austere beauty and charm. This massive 6,400-square-foot building serves as the centerpiece for any picturesque wedding or reception. Choose to exchange your vows on the porch of the 200-year-old Whitley log cabin or get hitched on the famous stage that serves as the centerpiece of MerleFest every year.
